OMC Magic Twig
At last night's committee meeting the use of the newly launched OMC 'Magic Twig' was discussed. With the controversial product now being available in tackle shops we could now actually see it for ourselves having already read articles for and against it, as well as a recently launched video from OMC supporting the product.
Whilst the club does not like to restrict anglers choices when it comes to terminal tackle it was felt that there could be issues with fish welfare especially on weedy waters (a main concern being the arms that protrude from the twig) therefore a decision was made that this product would for now not be allowed on CAPS waters. This decision will be reviewed again in November by the Committee as potentially more info becomes available now it’s available.
