Lodge Farm

St. Osyth

This lake is set in open farmland near St Osyth, it was dug around 2005 with landscaping now starting to make an impression. This was a virgin water when CAPS took it on and we have stocked the water with carp ranging up to 38lb including some large mirror's. A good head of Bream to 4lb has also been stocked, along with some Roach and Rudd. In addition, in early 2010, 200lb of Tench between 2lb & 5lb were added to the water.

Recent catches have included Carp just over 30lb and Tench to 9.8lb showing the fish have grown on from initial stocking.

There is a car park by the main entrance.

The water is used to irrigate the farmers crops, so the water level will change through out the year.

PLEASE RESPECT THE LOCAL RESIDENTS AND USERS OF DALTES LANE AND KEEP YOUR SPEED AND NOISE TO A MINIMUM.

This water will continue to undergo improvements, with most recently a number of windbreaks being added to the swims and trees planted around the lake, please take the time to give them a water during the warmer months.

In February of 2017, a number of Carp from VS Fisheries were stocked into the lake. This stocking will boost the numbers of Carp and it is hoped that they will quickly settle and grow to 20lb fish in the coming years.
