How To Join
MEMBERSHIP FOR 2024/5 is FULL (Although we will continue to accept any under 10 memberships) - Any quieries contact [email protected]NOTES :
1) If you were a member prior to last year but did not join last year you are considered a new member and need to wait until the 1st April. - Any quieries contact [email protected]
2) When rejoining as an existing member you do not need to send off your existing membership card or provide a new photo, you will be sent a new sticker which you affix to the back of your existing card.
3) Existing members when entering your membership number on the renewal form it is the number on the front of the card (under DOB) not the receipt number on the back of the card.
The season runs from the 1st April to 31st March. There is no closed season on our stillwaters.
PLEASE NOTE:-
a) NO MEMBER UNDER 16 YEARS OLD CAN NIGHT FISH WITHOUT AN ADULT MEMBER PRESENT
You don’t have to purchase the Season Night ticket at the same time as your normal membership, you can upgrade later.
You can purchase a Night Ticket Upgrade only if you hold an existing CAPS membership.
b) If you do not have a night ticket then you cannot fish before 6am and need to stop fishing at 10pm. You also need to leave the water overnight. You cannot merely stop fishing at 10.00 stay at your peg and then resume at 6am.
c) LAYER PIT is subject to a special membership, only anglers with a valid Layer Pit permit are eligible to fish this water. To gain a Layer upgrade 4 working parties have to be attended all at waters other than Layer. When you have completed your 4 working parites you should send the tokens and your membership card, along with a cheque for £30 to the Membership Secretary. There is also the option to 'buy' the work party vouchers at a cost of £25 each. This membership is valid until the member fails to join the Society for one season. This membership can only be obtained via the Membership Secretary.

Memberships have previously been available from the tackle shops however following the fact that for the last 3 seasons we have hit our membership limit, a decision has been made that for season 2024/5 renewals will not be available at tackle shops.
