OPENThis is a new stretch of water that CAPS have just taken over. It comprises of 10 permenant pegs around the 2 pools at the end of the River Stour before it enters the sea estuary.
Fish include Roach, Rudd, Perch Pike,
River Close Season applies between 15th March and 15th June inclusive.
No toilets on this stretch.

Due to the nature of this water no disabled swims are available.
1. Close season applies 15th March to 15th June inclusive.
2. Anglers must not dig swims into the bank but can cut back vegetation such as nettles etc. and need to fish from permenant platforms.
Coming from Colchester on A137 go past Manningtree station and head towards Brantham, go over White Bridge and you will come to a roundabout, turn right into industrial area, parking on factory lane (in front of Pizza shop, is closest). From Ipswich come down Brantham hill turn left at roundabout into factory lane.
